Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has suspended two permanent secretaries and six substantive directors, working in the Imo State civil service.
The governor was said to have taken the decision over allegations that they were involved in fraudulent acts.
The state government also asked them to refund all of the money they stole from the state’s coffers.
One of the suspended officials purportedly defrauded the state government of about N45 million.
