Bearing in mind the supposed bad blood between the two American celebrities, and the recent social media dramas that have played out in the past week, you are forgiven- for being surprised.

Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian put up the same selfie on their social media accounts, and the world of pop-culture can’t stop talking about it. They should hate each other, everyone appears to be saying.

The internet is gobsmacked by this unusual gesture following the recent Twitter spat between Kim K’s husband, Kanye West and his ex-girlfriend -Amber Rose.

A brief recap:

Kanye and fellow rapper, Wiz Khalifa were in a war of words and the former mentioned the latter’s kid, prompting Rose, the mother of the child in question- to attack Kim K’s hubby. It is even more surprising and a tad confusing because Rose’s best friend is Blac Chyna, a sworn social media enemy of the Kardashians. 

Chyna- who has started dating the Kim K’s younger brother, Rob- has a son for Tyga (who is now dating Kim K’s step-sister, Kylie Jenner).
