Rihanna has cancelled her performance at tonight’s Grammy awards over her health concerns.
Rihanna, who had recently released her eight studio album, Anti, was already at the Staples Center and had rehearsed earlier, but pulled out at the last minute. The
singer had reportedly been struggling with bronchitis, and doctors
warned her of vocal chord damage if she went along to perform.
A doctor put her on 48-hour vocal rest because she “was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal cords,” according to a rep for Riri.
