The Bayelsa state police command has said it has arrested 83 Biafria protesters in the state.

According to the command’s spokesman Anisim Butswat, he said
protesters were arrested during a flag-raising ceremony of the Biafra
Movement on the Mbiama-Yenagoa road and are currently under
investigation.
