Gallant troops on Friday hit the Boko Haram sect hard in Yobe State
after a gun duel took place in a settlement in Babangida area. The
militants on sighting the troops started shooting sporadically. The
retaliation by soldiers resulted in death of many members of the sect.
Several weapons were recovered after the fighters had been killed.
